Trent Ford

Trent Ford (born January 16, 1979 in Akron , Ohio ) is an American actor and model .

biography

Ford is the son of a test pilot of the US Navy and an English mother from Birmingham . He grew up in Cradley and Malvern after moving to the UK with his mother at the age of one . He attended Cambridge University and graduated with a degree in English .

Ford is known from films like How to Deal - Who Needs Love? , Deeply , naughty beasts! and Gosford Park . Most famous, however, is his role as Frenchman Jean-Paul Charpentier in the television series The West Wing and as Mr. Mxyzptlk in an episode of Smallville .
