The Class is an American comedy television series invented by David Crane and Jeffrey Klarik . The 19 episode first and only season aired on CBS from October 2006 to March 2007. The series was first broadcast in German-speaking countries at the end of 2007 on the Austrian broadcaster ATV . In Germany, the series was shown for the first time from February 2, 2011 in the early program on ProSieben .

In The Class is about a group of 28-year-old, who 20 years ago, the third class of Woodman Elementary School visited. One of them, Ethan Haas , invites seven of his former classmates to his engagement party . After this reunion, old connections are revealed in the further course of the series and the group gets to know each other anew.
