Trent Opaloch
Trent Opaloch (born December 31, 1969 ) is a Canadian cameraman .
Life
Opaloch began his career as a cameraman in the music video field. He then worked as a cameraman in advertising. In 2009, after a series of short films, District 9 was his first feature film. He worked again with director Neill Blomkamp on Elysium (2013) and Chappie (2015).
Opaloch was nominated for his work on District 9 at the British Academy Film Awards 2010 and for the Online Film Critics Society Award in the category Best Cinematography .
