Narkevychi

Narkewytschi ( Ukrainian Наркевичі ; Russian Наркевичи Narkewitschi ) is an urban-type settlement in the center of the Ukrainian Oblast Khmelnytskyi with about 1500 inhabitants (2014).

The village was founded in 1950 with the name Jasne ( Ясне ), received urban-type settlement status in 1968 and its current name in 1994. Narkewytschi is the only place in the settlement council of the same name.

Narkewytschi located in the east of Rajon Volochysk on the banks of Mschanez ( Мшанець ), a 22-km-long tributary of the Southern Bug , 34 km northwest of the Oblastzentrum Khmelnytsky and 46 km east of the Rajonzentrum Volochysk . The place has a train station on the Krasne – Odessa railway line .
