Winkiwzi ( Ukrainian Віньківці ; Russian Виньковцы Winkowzy ) is an urban-type settlement in the south of the Ukrainian Oblast Khmelnitskyi and the administrative center of the raion of the same name with about 6100 inhabitants (2019).

The village was founded in 1493 and received urban-type settlement status in 1957. Between 1927 and 1938 in honor of the Soviet Russian politician Volodymyr Satonskyj (Володимир Затонський) the place was named Satonsk (Затонськ).

Winkiwzi lies on the Kaljus ( Калюс ), a 64 km long, left tributary of the Dniester about 70 km south of the Oblast capital Khmelnytskyi . The T –23–05 runs through the village . The nearest train station is in Dunayivtsi, 40 km west of Winkivtsi.

The Winkiwzi Rajon, founded in 1923 and the administrative seat of which is the locality, has an area of ​​653 km² and a population of about 25,000. The population density is 40 inhabitants per km².
