Krassyliw (Ukrainian Красилів ; Russian Красилов / Krassilow , Polish Krasiłów ) is a city in Ukraine about 27 kilometers north of the Oblast capital Khmelnyzkyj on the Slutsch River.
The place was mentioned in writing for the first time in 1444 and was initially in Poland in the Kiev Voivodeship . In 1795 the place came to Russia and was administratively in the Volhynia governorate . In 1957 the Krasyliw received the status of an urban-type settlement , in 1964 the place was then also granted city rights and is the capital of the Krasyliw Rajon .
The single- track Kelmenzi – Kalinkawitschy railway runs east of the village .
