biography

Werner Schiebeler was born on March 17, 1923 in Bremen. After the Second World War he studied physics in Göttingen and earned his doctorate with a thesis at the Max Planck Institute for Flow Research. From 1955 to 1965 he worked in the electrical industry in Pforzheim , seven years of which as head of a development department for electronic telex technology at Standard Elektrik Lorenz . Parapsychology and Religion

Already at a relatively young age he observed paraphenomena, took them seriously and in the course of his life tried more and more carefully to support his hypotheses with circumstantial evidence. He himself emphasized that he saw his life's task in drawing people's attention to parapsychological research so that they can recognize that human life here on this earth, with earthly death, does not end, but in an otherworldly one Realm of existence finds its continuation. In doing so, he emphasized, “the way of life on the other side is largely dependent on the conduct of life in this world.” However, it is not the case that parapsychology “replaces a belief in God, but rather that parapsychology creates space for belief in God. And that is why the young science of parapsychology is a helpful bridge to the fulfillment of the Christian life. Religion as lived love for God and neighbor is what gives human life a meaning. Science cannot do that. "

Mr. Schiebeler was very close to spiritual Christianity and for many years visited a media group that provided pastoral care for the deceased (especially for 'poor souls'). In several of his books he conveyed the important insights gained from this about the condition of deceased people in the otherworldly world and left us instructive knowledge about the benefits and dangers of media traffic in the hereafter. Mr. Schiebeler was very interested in the life's work of Pastor Johannes Greber , about whom he wrote a book ( Werner Schiebeler (1998): Johannes Greber. His life and his work. Schutterwald: Verlag Martin Weber. 1st edition 1998 ). This book, The Intercourse with the Spiritual World of God by Johannes Greber, is often mentioned and quoted in the literature by Schiebeler. As a rather sober scientist, he had an emphatically critical attitude to all of the questions he investigated, which was of benefit to him.
