Trent Nelson Taylor (born April 30, 1994 in Cookeville , Tennessee , United States ) is an American football wide receiver and plays for the San Francisco 49ers in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Louisiana Tech University .
Early years
Taylor attended Evangel Christian Academy in Shreveport, Louisiana . In his freshman year, he caught 65 balls for 1,075 yards and 18 touchdowns. In his senior year he had 107 receptions for 1,650 yards and 20 touchdowns. He then started playing college football at Louisiana Tech University .

Taylor attended Louisiana Tech University from 2013 to 2016. Throughout his career at college, Trent Taylor had 327 receptions for 4,179 yards and 32 touchdowns, with the 327 receptions being a university record. In his last game, Taylor was named MVP of the 2016 Armed Forces Bowl after making 12 receptions for 233 yards and 2 touchdowns.
