Triegel from Gemmingen

Triegel von Gemmingen († 1384 or 1385 ) came from the Velscher branch of the Barons of Gemmingen and was Fauth in Kißlau in the second half of the 14th century .

Life

He was one of the sons of the elder Schweickardt von Gemmingen († 1371). He was Fauth in Kißlau in 1362 and bought a farm with a wine press and barn in Bruchsal for 350 guilders . Later he also bought part of the Bruchsal wine tithe . In 1382 Triegel issued a lapel to Count Eberhard von Württemberg, which contained the goods and people in Gemmingen belonging to the former fiefdom of Schwarz Schweickardt von Gemmingen . In 1384, Bishop Adolf von Speyer transferred the castle and town of Rotenberg to Triegel von Gemmingen with the associated villages of Malsch , Mühlhausen , Horrenberg and Balzfeld for 1,500 guilders. Triegel died in 1385.
