Martin Brudermüller

Martin Brudermüller (born May 5, 1961 in Stuttgart ) is a German chemist and manager. He has been CEO of BASF SE since May 2018 .

Life

From 1980 he studied chemistry at the University of Karlsruhe and received his diploma there in 1985. After completing his doctorate there in 1987 (doctoral supervisor: Hans Musso ), he completed a postdoc at the University of California, Berkeley . The following year Brother Müller's professional career began as a chemist in the ammonia laboratory of BASF . In 1993 he switched to New Business Development / Marketing in the Intermediate Products division.
