The console is technically based on the Nintendo GameCube . It has the same main memory as the Gamecube with 32 MiB as standard . However, this can be expanded. It is also possible to use Sega's GD-ROM system.
There are different hardware versions. In one, the main memory is external and not housed in the metal housing. In another variant, only Flash ROM cartridges can be read.

In 2012 a homebrew application was released for the Nintendo Wii , which makes some of the Triforce games playable there.
There is also an experimental development branch for the Dolphin emulator , which can emulate some Triforce games.
