Trillion was an American progressive rock band that released two albums in 1978 and 1980. Their style was based on the successful bands like Journey , Kansas or Styx and processed melodic rock passages with dense instrumental parts.
From Chicago originating Patrick Leonard (keyboard) and Bill Wilkens (drums) played with Fergie Frederiksen (vocals), Frank Barbalace (guitar) and Ron Anaman (bass) together and played a titled after the band name debut album with producer Gary Lyons at Epic Records one that was not a commercial success. Tour appearances with Heart , Aerosmith and Styx also brought little more sales. For the second LP Clear Approach , released in 1980, singer Frederiksen was replaced by Thom Griffin after internal disputes . After another failure and the departure of band leader Leonard, the other musicians also gave up after a short time.
