Trockenbach is a district of Schrecksbach in the Hessian Schwalm-Eder district in Germany .

The hamlet, first mentioned in a document in 1708, is located in the meadow of a deeply cut side valley of the Schwalm valley below the basalt cone of Schönberg . Federal road 254 runs west of the village .
