Truls Johansen (born April 27, 1989 ) is a former Norwegian ski racer . He specialized in the technical disciplines of slalom and giant slalom .

biography

Johansen took part in FIS races from the 2004/2005 season , achieved numerous top 10 results and several podium places in the next few years, but only won his first victory in April 2009. A month before that, he had taken part in his strongest discipline, slalom, at the 2009 Junior World Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and finished in 13th place. Since the 2009/2010 season, Johansen has also competed in the European Cup . He finished in the top ten for the first time in January and February 2010, but remained without a top 10 result the next winter.

On March 6, 2011 Johansen was used in the slalom of Kranjska Gora for the first time in the World Cup, but could not qualify for the second run. Three weeks later he became the Norwegian slalom champion . After his first podium places in the European Cup at the beginning of the 2011/2012 season, Johansen won his first World Cup points on January 8, 2012 when he was 20th in the Adelboden slalom . A week later he celebrated his first European Cup victory in the slalom of Méribel .

Johansen took part in the City Event in Moscow on January 29, 2013 . He was eliminated in the first round, which was equivalent to tied for ninth place, his best placement in the World Cup.

In April 2015 he announced the end of his career. In the course of his career he competed in 21 world cup races.
