history

Altenfließ was a fief of the noble Wedel family at least since the end of the 13th century . At the beginning of the 14th century, Altenfließ, then called "Oldenvlete", belonged to a branch of this family that had its headquarters in Mellen and which also owned Silligsdorf .

In 1713 Altenfließ was sold to a Matthias von Pritz, but was acquired in 1757 by Colonel Carl Friedrich von Wedel and so came back to the Wedel family. From 1854 there were discussions with the authorities because Altenfließ was run as a manor without the minimum size of 1000 acres required for this according to a royal decree of 1825. At least until 1861 this question was not resolved.

Around 1860 the Lehn-Rittergut Altenfließ, i.e. the manor district , comprised 952 acres of land, 661 acres of which were arable land, and 63 residents. In addition, there was the village of Altenfließ, the rural rural community , with 556 acres of land, 351 of which were arable land, and 77 inhabitants. The church was a subsidiary of the church in Mellen .

Later the Altenfließ estate was incorporated into the rural community. Until 1945 Altenfließ formed a rural community in the Regenwalde district of the Pomerania province . Apart from the village of Altenfließ itself, there were no other places to live in the community.

In 1945 Altenfließ came to Poland, like all of Western Pomerania. It was given the Polish name "Trzebawie", the inhabitants were expelled and replaced by Poles .
