Tschmyriwka ( Ukrainian Чмирівка ; Russian Чмыровка Tschmyrowka ) is a village in the north of the Ukrainian Luhansk Oblast with about 4,300 inhabitants (2001).

The village founded at the beginning of the 19th century (other sources after 1822) is the administrative center of the eponymous, 206.23 km² rural community in Starobilsk Raion with a total of 8004 inhabitants, to which the villages Zaporiske ( Запорізьке ) with 386 inhabitants, Butowe ( Бутове ) 1008 inhabitants, Pischane ( Піщане ) with 1,896 inhabitants, vyshneve ( Вишневе ) with 687 inhabitants, Nowoomelkowe ( Новоомелькове ) with 126 inhabitants and Orichowe ( Оріхове ) with 239 inhabitants and the settlement Stepowe ( Степове ) include 60 residents.

Chmyrivka is located about 100 km north of the Luhansk Oblast center and borders the northeast of the urban area of ​​the Starobilsk district center . The regional road P – 07 runs south of the village and the territorial road T – 13–02 runs west of Chmyrivka .
