Tsheten Shabdrung Jigme Rigpe Lodrö ( Tib . : tshe tan zhabs drung 'jigs med rig pa'i blo gros ; * April 22, 1910 in Xunhua ; † 1985 ) from Amdo , usually for short: Tsheten Shabdrung (Tib. ཚེ་ བརྟན་ ཞབས ་ དྲུང་; Wyl. Tshe tan Zhabs drung ), was a Tibetan clergyman of the Gelug School of Tibetan Buddhism and an eminent Tibetologist . He was the 5th (or 6th) Tsheten Shabdrung Rinpoche . He is considered the first Tibetan grammarian and is the author of important local histories , the works dan tig dkar chag on Dentig monastery and bya khyung gdan rabs on Chakhyung monastery . The Tibetan-Chinese dictionary dag yig thon mi'i dgongs rgyan appeared under his name . The Collected Works of Tsheten Shabdrung ( tshe tan zhabs drung gi gsung 'bum ) was published by Qinghai minzu chubanshe.
