The TuS Ende e. V. is a sports club in Herdecke in the Ende district and was founded in 1892. With around 1700 members in over 20 departments, it is one of the largest associations in the city.

Regular events

On the first Saturday in September of each year, the association has been organizing the Kirchender City Run since 1992 , which is designed as a fun run and has attracted more than 500 participants in recent years.

Successful departments

The club's sports operations are basically geared towards popular sports. The Taekwondo department at TuS Ende is particularly successful, and its athletes have been able to achieve national and international success for many years. In 2007 Sabrina Haas was able to fight for the title "International German Champion" in the so-called "Mixed Competition". The most recent great successes include winning the European Youth Championship in 2011 and 9th place at the 2010 World Youth Championship by Anna-Lena Frömming. The department can also point to a wide range of successes on a national level, most recently winning the German Open as the highest national tournament, also by Anna-Lena Frömming. In 2010 she was named Sportswoman of the Year in the Ennepe-Ruhr district . In 2009, the Taekwondo department took first place in the club evaluation due to the large number of good placements at the German championships. In 2010 the department was able to fight for a total of 66 gold, 49 silver and 56 bronze medals and thus achieved the best result since it was founded.
