The gymnastics and sports club Lindlar is a sports club from the municipality of Lindlar ( Oberbergischer Kreis ). In addition to football , the club also practices handball , badminton , basketball , table tennis , volleyball and swimming . In addition, health, leisure and youth sports are part of the offer at TuS Lindlar.
history
The association was founded in August 1925. The club attracted attention when its first soccer team was promoted to the North Rhine Football League in 1985/86 . However, the club had to relegate again after one season. A major sporting slump occurred from the 1989/90 season, when the first football team was relegated to the regional league and finally to the district league (1992/93). The club, whose football department is also the department with the largest number of members, did not recover from this. In the 2003/04 season, the first soccer team of TuS Lindlar just missed promotion to the state league in relegation . She made it after the 2012/13 season. Three years later, the people from Lindlar were relegated to the district league, before relegation to the district league A followed in 2019.
