Guido Hoffmann (born December 20, 1965 in Lindlar ) is a former German soccer player and today's coach.
Career
From 1985 to 1997 Hoffmann played 110 Bundesliga games for Borussia Mönchengladbach , FC 08 Homburg , 1. FC Kaiserslautern and Bayer 04 Leverkusen . In 1991 he was German champion with Kaiserslautern and in 1993 with Leverkusen DFB Cup winner . His other stations were SV Wehen ( Oberliga Hessen ), VfB Leipzig ( 2nd Bundesliga ), the Cypriot first division team Omonia Nicosia and SV Waldhof Mannheim in the Regionalliga Süd .
From October 2007 to June 2009 Hoffmann was an assistant trainer at Energie Cottbus. Then he trained the B1 youth of TuS Lindlar and became champions with them in the 2010/11 season.
In September 2012, Guido Hoffmann took over from Alois Schwartz as coach of the U-23 (2nd team) of 1. FC Kaiserslautern and was replaced by Konrad Fünfstück at the turn of the year 2012/13. Then he was the youth coordinator of the FCK youth team.
On October 29, 2014, Hoffmann was introduced as the new head coach of the southwest regional division SVN Zweibrücken and inherited Adis Herceg, who was dismissed after a scandal at half-time in a league game. In May 2015, the SVN and Guido Hoffmann separated.
