Tubbe was founded in 2010 by Henri Jakobs and Klaus Scheuermann in Munich . Initially in the queer rave scene, including appearances on Christopher Street Day , they moved to Berlin and began to move away from this niche. The two signed with the Hamburg independent label Audiolith, where they first released the single Liebe. Finished. On March 1, 2013, her debut album Eiscafe Ravetto was released .
On March 13th, 2015, their second album, Keine Arbeit prefer Tanz, was released . Torsun from Egotronic and jazz pianist Joachim Kühn are represented as musical guests . Videos were shot for Punkopa (feat. Torsun), In Berlin , Dummheit sticht Armut and Good Days .
On August 12, 2015, the band appeared on the late night show Bohn Jour on Rocket Beans TV .
style
At the beginning fixed on the image of a queer rave band and compared, among other things, with Rosenstolz , they began to emancipate themselves from this scene. Tubbe played quiet electro-pop with catchy melodies on their first album. The texts mostly dealt with the pain of separation. The second album became much more socially critical, while the music remained catchy and danceable.
