Tuccio Musumeci

Tuccio Musumeci (born April 20, 1934 in Catania ) is an Italian actor .

Life

Musumeci comes from the school of the "Teatro Stabile di Catania", where he performed alongside Michele Abbruzzo , Rosina Anselmi and Umberto Spadaro . The actor, equipped with special facial expressions and therefore mostly in comic roles, has worked intensively for television after seasons with touring theaters and in local ensembles, in Avanspettacolo and cabaret groups (such as with Pippo Baudo ) and celebrated stage successes such as the satire on silent movie times, Arte di Giufà by Nino Martoglio , or in Pipin the Short , for which he was awarded in New York in 1985. In the cinema he was cast in several comedies in the 1970s and 1980s (after a small role in Luchino Visconti's The Leopard ).

Since 2008 Musumeci has been the artistic director of the "Teatro Brancani" in his hometown. He has two sons.
