Virilità (in German masculinity ) is an Italian comedy film from 1974 by Paolo Cavara with Turi Ferro , Marc Porel and Agostina Belli in the leading roles.
action
Vito La Casella is enormously endowed between the loins and he never misses an opportunity to prove his great manhood to the village population. He is now married to the young Cettina. Suddenly Roberto la Casella, Vito's son from his first marriage, returns from London with two young lovers. Even if Vito is proud that his son is just as well equipped, he is appalled that Roberto is homosexual and that he kisses men in public. He wants his son to be just as much a womanizer as he is and tries to pair him with Lucia, the pharmacist's daughter. But then he catches his son in bed with Cettina. Instead of becoming jealous, he is now proud of his now bisexual son Roberto, who can delight everyone with his proud masculinity - and of the new kind of ménage à trois .
criticism
CG Fava judged in the Corriere Mercantile that the core theme of the film was “trivial, but expandable, which the film implemented in a somewhat boring but at least realistic and dramatic-satirical way. However, the foul, random-looking, chaotic, gloomy tones of the Sicilian comedy (always thought up in Rome) predominate. "
Remarks
A soundtrack single, CAM AMP 129, was released.
