Taha Cengiz Demirtaş (born May 15, 1994 in Ankara ) is a Turkish football goalkeeper .

Career

Demirtaş was born in Altındağ , a district of Ankara . In Ankara, he began club football in the youth of Gençlerbirliği Ankara . In the summer of 2009 he received a professional contract here, but continued to play for the youth teams. For the next season he was loaned to the second club of Gençlerbirliği, the fourth division club Hacettepe SK , and played here for one season for the youth team of this club. For the 2011/12 season he was handed over to Hacettepe along with the transfer fee and was the third goalkeeper in the professional team. In the fourth division match on October 24, 2012 against Gebzespor , he made his professional debut. In the 2013/14 season he and his club reached the play-off winners of the TFF 3rd Lig and promotion to the TFF 2nd Lig .

For the 2016/17 season he returned to Gençlerbirliği.

National team

Demirtaş started his national team career in 2008 with a commitment for the Turkish U-15 national team. After another U-15 mission, he began to expire for the Turkish U-16 selection.
