Tudor Dinu
Tudor Dinu (* 1978 ) is a Romanian Graecist , Byzantinist and Neo-Greekist .
Dinu works as a lecturer at the University of Bucharest and is a member of the Administrative Council of the European Society for Neo-Greek Studies . He was visiting professor at the universities of Cyprus , Berlin , Kiev and Brno .
Dinu has mainly worked in the field of Byzantine and Post- Byzantine studies. In 2008 he published a biography of Mihai Viteazul (1558-1601), in 2011 a biography of Nikolaos Mavrokordatos (1680-1730). He has also published translations in the field of ancient literature ( Aristophanes , Plutarch , Iamblichos , Seneca , Pliny the Elder ) and modern Greek literature ( Ritsos , Engonopoulos ).
