The Tur Peak is a 1,470 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Victory Mountains, it rises 7.2 km south-southeast of Mount Alberts on the south-eastern periphery of the Malta Plateau from the north face of the lower Mariner Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1969 after Lieutenant Juan José Tur (1931-2017) of the Reserve Forces of the US Navy, Doctor on Hallett Station in 1957.
