Turmoil was an American hardcore punk - band from Pennsylvania .

history

The band was formed in Pennsylvania in 1992 . In her early stages she played with bands like Earth Crisis , Shelter , Snapcase and Life of Agony . The first official musical sign of life, the EP Who Says Time Heals All Wounds? , followed in 1994 a European tour together with Madball . The debut album From Bleeding Hands was released in 1996 via Century Media .

A year later, the band recorded four new songs, which were released together with earlier demo and 7 "recordings as part of the Anchor compilation . The Process Of ... was released in 1999 , followed by the second and so far last studio album for Kingfisher Records, a Century Media sub-label.

A best-of compilation followed in 2005 with the double CD Staring Back via Abacus Recordings, also a sub-label of Century Media.

In February 2007 the band signed a new record deal with Eulogy Recordings . Before an album could be released, however, the working title was "The International Language of ...", singer and co-founder Jon Gula got out in September 2008. He was succeeded by Nate Johnson.

Others

Part of the band felt connected to the straight edge philosophy. Nonetheless, the band refused to attach this label because they wanted to be judged based on their music rather than a philosophy.
