Turn Me Loose is the first studio album by the American country musician Vince Gill . It was released in 1984 under the RCA Nashville label.

Music video

The music video shows Gill with a 1964 Cherry Red Gibson ES-335 , the same guitar that Eric Clapton played when he was Cream , as Gill is performing the song. The video is interspersed with sequences from the kitchen, at home and driving a car. The video ends with Gill driving a car and finishing the song. Directed by David Hogan.

Allmusic critic Jim Worbois described the album as "a fine example of Gill's songwriting and performing skills". He awarded a total of three of the five possible evaluation units for Turn Me Loose . The album peaked at number 64 on the Billboard Country Albums chart. The single Victim of Life's Circumstances ranked 40th on the Billboard Country Songs Chart in 1984. The singles Oh Carolina and Turn Me Loose reached 38th and 39th respectively on the charts.
