Tursunbaj (Tursun) Uldschabajewitsch Uldschabajew ( Russian Турсунбай (Турсун) Ульджабаевич Ульджабаев * April 18 jul. / 1. May  1916 greg. In Kuruk, Chodschent, Russian Empire , today Khujand , Sughd , Tajikistan , † 31 May 1988 ) was a Soviet politician of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU), who was among other things Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Tajik Soviet Socialist Republic between 1955 and 1956 and First Secretary of the Communist Party of Tajikistan from 1956 to 1961 .

Life

Tursunbaj Uldschabajewitsch Uldschabajew, son of a farmer, became a member of the Communist Youth Association Komsomol in 1932 . He completed his studies at a pedagogical-technical school and after graduating in 1935 became a teacher at a primary school. After joining the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU) on August 1, 1937, he became head of the pioneering department in an oblast and subsequently served as First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Komsomol of the Tajik Soviet Socialist Republic between March 1943 and August 1947 . After studying at the CPSU party college from 1947 to 1950 , he was secretary of the Stalinabad Oblast Party Committee between September 1950 and 1952 and first secretary of the Leninabad Oblast Party Committee from 1952 to March 1954.

Uldschabajew was then secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Tajikistan from 1954 to 1955 and on March 29, 1955 succeeded Jabar Rassulowitsch Rassulow as chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Tajik Soviet Socialist Republic and held this office until May 25, 1956, whereupon Nazarscho Dodschudoyev was his successor started. Thereupon he succeeded Bobodzhan Gafurowitsch Gafurow as First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Tajikistan on May 24, 1956 . He held this position until April 12, 1961 when he, together with the chairman of the Council of Ministers, Nazarscho Dodschudojew, was dismissed from all positions and expelled from the CPSU because of the "systematic falsification of report documents" to over-fulfill the plans for cotton production, which were actually not fulfilled has been. His successor as First Secretary of the Communist Party of Tajikistan was then Jabar Rassulowitsch Rassulow. He was also a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR and a member of the Central Committee of the CPSU.

Subsequently, Tursun Uldschabajew was between 1961 and 1964 director of the Mitin-Tugai sovkhoz in Chatlonskaya Oblast and from 1964 to 1973 director of the Garm sovkhoz in Komsomolabad Oblast . He then acted between March 1973 and December 1976, initially as deputy director and, most recently, since December 1976 as director of the XXIVth Party Congress in Kuibyshev Rajon . He has been honored several times for his services and received, among other things, the Order of Lenin , the Order of the Red Banner of Labor three times and the Badge of Honor of the Soviet Union twice .
