Tuuli Vahtra (born March 4, 1989 in Kõo ) is an Estonian chess player .

Life

Tuuli Vahtra graduated from high school in Viljandi in 2007 and graduated from Tallinn University of Technology with a bachelor's degree in economics in 2010 . She lived in Melbourne , Australia until May 2015 .

Your chess coaches from 1997 to 2008 were Jüri Sammul and since 2008 the international master Ülar Lauk . She played team chess first for the Viljandi Ms club and from 2012 for Võru MK .

successes

For the Estonian women's national team she played at the Chess Olympiads in 2008 , 2010 and 2012 with an overall positive result of 18.5 points from 27 games (+15 = 7 −5), with her score of 6.5 out of 8 at the Olympics 2008 in Dresden the title FIDE-Meister der Frauen (WFM) was awarded.

In 2010 Tuuli Vahtra in Tartu was the first female chess player from Kõo to win the Estonian women's individual championship.

Tuuli Vahtra's highest Elo rating was 2056 in February and March 2014.

In playing poker , she won the Estonian Women's Championship in Tallinn in 2011 .
