Two Night Stand is a 2014 American film starring Analeigh Tipton and Miles Teller . The film is mainly shot in the form of a chamber play , as the action takes place for the most part only with the two main actors in an apartment.

Megan is currently single and unemployed and passes the time with online data. Her roommate, Faiza, wants to take her to a friend's birthday party in a club to match Megan. Since Megan forgot her ID, she will not be allowed into the club. In front of the club she meets her former fiancé Chris. This makes Megan feel inferior and reminded of her past. Faiza persuades Megan to go home and look for a man for a one night stand through an online portal.
Megan meets up with Alec online and then drives over to him. When she tries to steal from it unnoticed the next morning, she triggers the alarm system. She stays with Alec to say goodbye. A battle of words ensues and Megan furiously leaves Alec's apartment. Because the front door is blocked by a lot of fresh snow and public transport has come to a complete standstill, Megan has to stay with Alec. The two do not find a common topic of conversation. Only after the two of them have smoked weed do conversations take place between them. You pass the time playing table tennis and doing handicrafts.
Megan accidentally clogs Alec's toilet. Because the blockage cannot be removed and Megan urgently needs to go to the toilet, Megan and Alec break into Alec's neighbors via the fire escape.
The two start a conversation about good sex, and Alec suggests that they both be honest about the last night. Megan doesn't want to do this at first, fearing that Alec will be mad at her. But then she agrees. Later, Megan suggests putting constructive criticism of love life to the test. Alec agrees and the two sleep together one more time.
Because Alec has nothing more to eat, Alec breaks into his neighbors one more time and steals noodles there.
When Megan tries to borrow a sweatshirt from Alec, she finds women's clothes in his closet and also pictures of Alec and his girlfriend Daisy. Alec explains that Daisy is currently in San Francisco and wanted to come back that afternoon, but her flight was canceled because of the snow storm. Alec also shows Megan a letter from Daisy that he found on her by chance and that Daisy has not yet given him. With the letter, Daisy wants to end the relationship between her and Alec. Megan is very disappointed with Alec for agreeing to the one night stand despite being in a relationship and leaves Alec's apartment. It has stopped snowing and Megan is walking home. When she returns home, she immediately deletes her profile in the online portal.
After Daisy is back with Alec, the two end their relationship. Since Alec only knows Megan's first name, he tries to find out more information about her. In order to find her again, he lets the police look for her because of the break-in at his neighbors. When the police found her, she admitted the break-in and ended up temporarily in jail. Alec puts Megan on bail, but she wants to stay in jail. When Faiza bails out, Megan comes out of jail. Alec waits for her in front of it, confesses his love for her and asks her to give him a try. Megan is mad at Alec for putting her in jail and doesn't want to hear from him. She still has his phone number given and agrees to contact him as soon as she can laugh about the situation she went through. While still in prison, she starts laughing and calls Alec. The two finally kiss in front of the prison.
