Tyler James Hilton (born November 22, 1983 in Palm Springs , California ) is an American musician and actor .

life and career

Hilton was born in 1983 to Kristy and Robert Hilton. He spent parts of his childhood in Bermuda Dunes, California. Due to the fact that he grew up with a lot of music, he taught himself songs by Elvis Presley at a young age . After living in Northern California with his family for a short time, they moved back to the Palm Springs area. There he wrote his first song of his own, a song for a girl named Rhian. Later his family moved one more time, to Coachella Valley . There he attended La Quinta High School, where he later formed a band with classmates .

He was best known for the role of Chris Keller in One Tree Hill , which he played from 2004 to 2007 and 2012. He also contributed his own songs to their soundtrack . He was also in the music video Teardrops on My Guitar by Taylor Swift to see.

He's been dating Megan Park , whom he met on the set of Charlie Bartlett , since 2007 . After the two got engaged in January 2014, they married on October 10, 2015 in California .
