Tyler Werry (born October 22, 1991 ) is a retired Canadian ski racer . He was particularly successful in the Downhill and Super-G disciplines .

biography

Werry contested his first FIS races from winter 2006. He first started in the Nor-Am Cup in the 2007/08 season . It took three years before he was able to place in the points for the first time. He achieved this with rank 27 on December 14, 2009 in the giant slalom of Panorama . Werry recorded his first podium finish in this racing series in March 2013: At the Super-G in Nakiska , he finished second behind Morgan Pridy . In the following years Werry celebrated some successes in the Nor-Am Cup.

On December 8, 2013, he made his debut in the Alpine Ski World Cup , where he could not qualify for the second round in the giant slalom of Beaver Creek . His best placement in the Ski World Cup was a 26th place in the combination of Wengen on January 16, 2015. In the 2016/17 season of the Nor-Am Cup, he won the downhill discipline ranking.
