Tylko Muzyka was the first thematic specialty broadcaster of the Polish public television service Telewizja Polska and the first music television in the Polish language. It was broadcast digitally on cable television from the start. For formal legal reasons, the program had to be discontinued a year later.
Parts of the program were also broadcast on TVP Polonia during off- air times . After the program was discontinued, these broadcasts were continued as individual broadcasts on international television.
The two stylized capital letters "T" and "M" in a kind of ligature were used as the station logo .
