TVP Seriale is a specialty program of the Polish television company Telewizja Polska (TVP). The station mainly broadcasts television series , including many series from TVP's main programs, such as. B. M jak miłość (M for love, also known from TVP Polonia ) or Ojciec Mateusz (father Matthew). There are also many international series such as B. Siostra Jackie ( Nurse Jackie ), which are shown in the first broadcast, but also feature films , mainly on weekends during prime time. The station's claim is: "TVP Seriale - relaks, który uzależnia" (TVP Seriale - relaxation that is addicting).
The technical range via cable and satellite is 34.2% of the population (4.8 million households). Although the broadcaster is an offer from the public service broadcaster, Iwona Bocian-Zaciewska, lawyer at TVP, said it should be profitable as an advertising-financed program for the operator, i.e. make a profit.

In the opinion of Paweł Paluch, TVP board member, “all studies” have shown that there is a market for a station that delivers what distinguishes the Polish television market, that is, “the best series”. Accordingly, the main target group are women between the ages of 35 and 49, but they also want to address men and children with individual programs (e.g. with the children's series Magiczne drzewo, The Magic Tree ). Series such as B. Siedem życzeń (Seven Wishes) are intended to attract families from all generations in front of the screen.

The program for series is currently available via satellite on the Cyfrowy Polsat and nc + platforms , as well as on most of the Polish cable networks. Via DVB-T , the program is only represented in the Cyfrowy Polsat multiplex ("TV Mobilna" with 576i resolution), which is subject to a charge. The program is also represented on IP TV platforms (e.g. Orange ).
