TVP HD is an HD television channel of the Polish public broadcaster Telewizja Polska , which started on August 6, 2008 at 10:50 am.
history
TVP HD started on August 6, 2008 at 10:50 a.m. Initially, the channel was only supposed to broadcast the Beijing Summer Olympics . The station later also broadcast other sports events (e.g. football, basketball), series and films, mainly TVP's own productions. TVP HD sends z. B. the talent show The Voice of Poland , which is broadcast on TVP2 .
The channel is broadcast with a resolution of 1080i . The message that the station should be broadcast with the standard resolution of 720p turned out to be incorrect.
The channel is broadcast on the satellite: Eutelsat Hot Bird 13C .
On September 1, 2014, the station was to be renamed TVP Premium HD, which was postponed indefinitely after numerous protests.

TVP HD is broadcast in Poland by cable and satellite. The channel is offered by cable from the providers UPC Polska, Toya, Neostrada TP z telewizją (cable), Multimedia Polska and Vectra. It is available via satellite from Orange TV , nc + , Cyfrowy Polsat and Telewizja na kartę. The station is offered by Orange via IPTV .
