The Tyone River is a left tributary of the Susitna River in southern Alaska .

It rises from Tyone Lake east of the Talkeetna Mountains , flows in a northwest direction and flows into the Susitna River, which flows into the Cook Inlet , 109 km northwest of Gulkana and 11 km northeast of the mouth of the Oshetna River .
