Tyschkiwka (Ukrainian Тишківка ; Russian Тышковка / Tyschkowka ) is a village in Haysyn district of Vinnytsia Oblast . It is located 35 kilometers from Hajssyn and extends over 1,296 km². Its population is 226 (as of December 16, 2006). Together with the villages of Stepowe ( Степове ), Tyschkiwska Sloboda ( Тишківська Слобода ) and the main village Mytkiw ( Митків ) it forms a district council .
history
The settlement is estimated to have originated between 1600 and 1610.
geography
The settlement is located in the Dnieper highlands . The Sob flows through Hajssyn to the west as a tributary to the left of the Southern Bug .
