The Herne Mitte underground station is a tunnel station of the Bochum Stadtbahn in the independent city of Herne in the Ruhr area .
Location and structure
The underground station is centrally located in downtown Hernes in the underground of Bahnhofstrasse. There are several shops and the Herne tax office in its vicinity.
It is located around 450 m south of the neighboring Herne Bahnhof underground station and around 700 m north of the neighboring Archeology Museum / Kreuzkirche underground station .
The double-track underground station has two side platforms.
