The underground station Deutsches Bergbau-Museum is a tunnel station of the Bochum Stadtbahn in the independent city of Bochum .

Location and structure

The underground station is located in the northern area of ​​downtown Bochum in the underground of Herner Straße. It has two exits. The southern one leads to the north ring and the northern one to its namesake, the German Mining Museum in Bochum . Destinations in the north of Bochum city center, including the nearby technical university, are accessed via the south exit .

It is located around 600 m south of the Feldsieper Straße underground station and around 700 m north of the Bochum Rathaus (north) underground station .

The underground station has a central platform. The walls of the railway level are designed with stylized seams , entrances and distribution levels are reminiscent of a wash house with the tiles and show objects on the subject of mining, according to a hunt .
