Ubbo Felderhof
Ubbo Felderhof (born January 13, 1936 in Amersfoort ) is a Dutch physicist. He is a retired professor for theoretical physics at RWTH Aachen University .
At the University of Utrecht in 1963 when Nico van Kampen doctorate, Ubbo Felderhof in 1971, according to research stays at Irwin Oppenheim at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Michael Fisher at the Cornell University , for readers of Theoretical Physics at Queen Mary and Westfield College in London appointed. In 1975 he accepted a professorship at RWTH Aachen University.
His main research interests lie in statistical mechanics and in particular in the area of transport phenomena in liquids (theory of dielectric constants, interaction between radiation and matter , diffusion-controlled reactions and colloidal solutions).
Ubbo Felderhof was co-editor of the journals Journal of Statistical Physics (1988–1990) and Physica A (1989–2005).
