Udersleben is a district of Bad Frankenhausen / Kyffhäuser in the Kyffhäuserkreis in Thuringia .
geography
Udersleben is located east of Bad Frankenhausen at the foot of the southern roof of the Kyffhäuser Mountains . To the north of the village, the area is heavily cropped and then flattens to the south to the plain. Between Bad Frankenhausen and Udersleben, the Bad Frankenhausen airfield is located on these flat and easily workable areas .
history
The small village was first mentioned in documents as early as 802–817. The early settlement in this area around the Hainich and Kyffhäuser is known. The St. Galli Church was built in the second half of the 12th and first half of the 13th century. Until 1918 the place belonged to the rule of the Principality of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt .
On April 9, 1994 Udersleben was incorporated into Bad Frankenhausen.
