Udo Dziersk
Udo Dziersk (born February 3, 1961 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a German painter .
Life
Udo Dziersk studied free painting from 1983 to 1988 in Düsseldorf , Berlin and Karlsruhe . He took lessons from Gerhard Richter , Georg Baselitz, Per Kirkeby and Markus Lüpertz .
In 2001, Dziersk organized a joint painting campaign "From all the beautiful colors" with the then players from the FC Schalke 04 team under coach Huub Stevens .
In 2002 he received a professorship at the Düsseldorf Art Academy . In 2005 he took over the leadership of a workshop for painting at the Art Academy in Tirana (Albania). In 2011 he received a teaching position at the Art Academy Savitski in Russian Penza . Also in 2014 and 2016 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Xi'an and in 2014 at the School of Arts and Communication of Beijing Normal University . In 2015 another teaching position followed at the Accademia di belle arti "Picasso" in Palermo, Italy .
In March 2017, Dziersk was again given a visiting professorship at the Academy of Fine Arts in Xi'an.

- 1997 at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Staromiejski Dom Kultury in Warsaw, Poland
- 1999 in the Chiostro Basilica S. Clemente in Rome, Italy
- 2004 in the Gelsenkirchen Museum
- 2007 in the New Saxon Art Association in Dresden
- 2013 in the Hofman gallery in Alphen, the Netherlands
- 2015 at Art Forum Rhee in Bucheon, Korea
- 2015 in the Akademie-Galerie - The new collection in Düsseldorf
- 2016 at the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, China
- 2017 at the Krefelder Kunstverein
as curator:
- 2013 in the Herz-Jesu Church Wuppertal-Elberfeld, curator of the exhibition "variant fantastico_endloser Heimweg"
- 2015 in the house of the University of Düsseldorf, co-curator of the exhibition "Fetish or Fetishism"
Dziersk lives and works as a freelance artist in Wuppertal .
