Udo Plamberger (born January 1, 1971 in Bad Ischl ) is a former Austrian tennis player .

Career

Udo Plamberger began his professional career in 1991, he celebrated his first successes on the Satellite Tour , where he emerged as the winner at tournaments in Poland and Greece. Plamberger was considered a doubles specialist and was able to advance to the final at the ATP tournament in Umag at the side of Ģirts Dzelde in August 1996 , which was lost to Pablo Albano and Luis Lobo 4-6 and 3-6 respectively.

His career highlights included winning doubles against Libor Pimek and Byron Talbot , number eight in the doubles team ranking at the time, at the 1996 tournament in Umag. He also played alongside Pat Cash at the Grand Prix in St. Pölten and was also with the earlier one Number eleven Andrei Cherkassov active in doubles.

In 1996 and 1997 he played for the Austrian Davis Cup team . He was used twice in doubles, both times alongside Thomas Muster .

Plamberger ended his career in 1999. His best score in singles was world number 283, in doubles position 124 was his best place.

Udo Plamberger lives in Gmunden and runs a sports management company called SMP.
