Udo Wenders (born October 29, 1972 ; real name Udo Ebner ) is an Austrian pop singer and former cabaret artist and comedian.

Career

Wenders grew up singing, his parents were already members of the choir, and he completed a two-year classical vocal training course at the conservatory. Under his real name, Udo Ebner , he was active as a cabaret artist in addition to his job and was also a fixture in carnival in his home town of Feffernitz near Villach .

It reached number 7 in the Austrian charts and stayed in the charts for over a year. He received a platinum record for over 20,000 albums sold.

In March 2009 he took part in the dance show Dancing Stars , where he and his dance partner Barbara Koitz reached 3rd place. A few months later, album number two, Tender Signals , followed, which even made it into the top 3 and got gold . He was then nominated for the Amadeus in the Schlager category.

In 2010, the third album followed , It's always forever .
