Ueli Witzig

Ueli Witzig (born May 26, 1946 in Fischenthal im Tösstal , Canton Zurich ) is a Swiss designer .

Life

Ueli Witzig began his training in 1963 with a preliminary course at the Zurich School of Applied Arts, followed from 1964 to 1967 by an apprenticeship in pottery at the Swiss Ceramics School in Renens near Lausanne . In 1967 he did a plastics internship at Weidmann AG in Rapperswil SG . This paved his way into product design . From 1967 to 1968 he studied at the Ulm School of Design . After completing his training, he worked as a designer at Walser Design in Zurich and created the design of mechanical calculating machines for Hermes Precisa and for the professional tape recorder from Sondor Zollikon .
