The Uentrop (also written Üntrop ) is a 5.8 km long, left tributary of the Lenne in the North Rhine-Westphalian Hochsauerlandkreis ( Germany ).

geography

The Uentrop rises as a dwarf soap on the eastern flank of the Härdler , located in the main ridge of the Rothaargebirge , at an altitude of 630  m above sea level. NHN . First flowing to the east, the stream soon turns its course to the north. With the mouth of the Weinkännchen after 1.4 km, the brook is called Uentrop. The stream flows further in predominantly north-north-westerly directions after flowing through the village of Lenne at 335  m above sea level. NHN on the left into the Lenne .

The upper valley area of ​​the Uentrop is part of the Üntrop nature reserve . The creek overcomes a height difference of 295 m on its 5.8 km long path, which corresponds to a mean bed gradient of 50.9 ‰. It drains a 9.506 km² catchment area via the Lenne, Ruhr and Rhine to the North Sea .
