Uksed (in German Doors ) is the title of an Estonian music film from 1969. It was shown throughout the Soviet Union under its equivalent Russian-language title Двери .

production

The color film was created as a commission for Soviet television. The shooting took place between June and October 1969 in the Estonian capital.

The film presents the light music of the Estonian SSR against the backdrop of Tallinn's old town and the Estonian open-air museum in Rocca al Mare with its historic houses. The film is also set in a revue theater that was set up in Tallinnfilm's studio .

The film features the most popular Estonian artists and bands ( Laine , Collage ) of the time. The theme is - as the title suggests - doors that open and close.

The film is practically divided into three areas. They deal with the reception of Estonian folk songs in modern music, popular hits by well-known Estonian artists and catchy jazz melodies. The film also shows dance interludes.

The strip premiered in Tallinn on May 25, 1970. It is practically forgotten today.
