Uli Aigner

Uli Aigner (* 1965 in Gaming ) is an Austrian visual artist, draftsman, photographer and video artist .

After her pottery apprenticeship, with a journeyman's certificate, she studied product design from 1984 to 1990 with Matteo Thun at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna , graduating with distinction (1990). From 1991 to 1993 she completed postgraduate studies at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy . From 2001 to 2003 she was visiting professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich . From 2006 to 2010 Uli Aigner was the director of Lothringer13 - Städtische Kunsthalle München.

Since the 1990s, her work has included videos, performances, room installations, large-format colored pencil drawings and porcelain objects that are shown in renowned international museums, institutions and galleries. Uli Aigner has lived with her family in Berlin since 2011 and is dedicated to her own artistic production.
