Uliana Pernazza (born January 2, 1959 in Rome ) is an Italian engraver and medalist .

Career

Italian 2 euro commemorative coin for the fifth decade of the World Food Program (2004)
San Marinese euro coin of the second minting series of 50 cents (since 2017)

Uliana Pernazza studied from 1979 to 1983 at the Scuola dell'Arte della Medaglia - Giuseppe Romagnoli of the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato and has been employed as an engraver and medalist at the Zecca dello Stato, the Italian state mint , since 1984 . In addition to circulation coins and collector's coins for Italy , San Marino and the Vatican, she also produced a large number of medals for public and private clients. Since 1995 she has been teaching at the Scuola dell'Arte della Medaglia .
